we lost out top 3 CB's to injury at the same time and hurt but still survived. Not often you are going to lose the top 3 at the same time. Also last years #1 was a rookie at that position. Of course we need depth at CB, but we need starters at DT and LB.

Nothing like the rest of us, but that's what arm chair QB's/fans do. We discuss and debate happenings with our teams. No doubt the Saints front office is better qualified to make picks, but that doesn't mean they are right 100% of the time. Not sure what they are thinking with this one. Maybe they see some 2nd and 3rd rounders that can start at DT and LB, but that's unlikely so late in the rounds.

you really need to evaluate the saints entire draft not just the first round.

No sheet Sherlock, but we are evaluating the first pick at this point.

You don't win Superbowls by drafting for need in the first round...

Then maybe we should have picked up Clausen since he was the highest rated player available.

Well I guess after all the speculation we should finally know where Albert Haynesworth ends up within the next few hours.

Supposedly the Redskins are going to trade him today. The Titans and Saints are two teams that have been mentioned.

The Saints have the #64 and #95 picks. The Titans sit at #77.

I'm not suggesting he would be good or bad for us...just glad the story will soon end.

Dude, if the Saints get Haynesworth, (without having to give up too much) game ****ing over.
