The character of the Miles era will be defined in the next 17 games. Will a close loss to a top team create a sense of collapse like last year? Or will our pride get us into the weight room with a vengance. Win the next three, and we enter next year in everybody's top 5. It's all there for the taking. UF loses Tebow. AMAB will be tough, but they will be in our house. Everybody else is TIGER BAIT. A year of experience (and maybe some new line coaches--I'm just saying) puts LSU back in the SEC drivers seat. I agree with you, Thorny, but I think the next three games are the truly critical games in defining the character of the TEAM. We will probably be without Charles Scott. I think JJ will be back. Peterson's cramps were due to a bout of the flu during the week of the Tulame game - he'll be fine. If the Tigers win out this year, the team will have exceeded our reasonable expectations for this year and will show that they have the HEART of a championship team. And we would be in the pre-season top five for good reason! !twocrystals! +1 more in 2010! :geaux:
Bama's core players will all be back next year, actually next year is when most fans thought this program would turn into a beast. BR on the schedule, and that is a concern, apparently more mine than yours. I think the series will become more of a home and home advantage, as time goes on.
That's possible, I'm thinking that way myself. LB position is over flowing with experience, talent, and numbers. Hightower, Harris, Johnson, Upshaw and many more are willing and able to close the gap.
You will have to break in a green quarterback also who hasn't had 1000 years in the system. And it makes me happy that Bama's core players will be back, because it will make the SEC championship that much sweeter. We were the better team everywhere except your O Line was better than our D line, every other aspect of the game LSU was better. So bring it, i can't wait.
You know what you are right, i thought he was a Sr, he must have had a redshirt year. My bad, wont matter anyway though. I still think Jefferson is better than McElroy.
I think the important thing for this team is to finish strong and not get down. to finish 10-2 this year is really great for this team.
McElroy is back for sure. It's going to be difficult holding back quarterback talent next year. Ingram obviously not a concern in deaf valley? Your D-line matches up with ours? For some reason, your waiting for your team to come into it's own. At Bama, it's more, they just want their turn.
