I agree with the point you are making, and it will probably come back to get us against Bama and Florida, but in this game, I think we wear them down and score late in the 3rd and in the 4th quarter. MSU's offense is terrible and our defense is too good for them. Unless there is a glut of turnovers, LSU wins this easy.
It's much more difficult to throw the ball on the run because you lose stability. You have to time your throw with your steps, still planting and setting your feet but for much, much less time. It is ridiculously difficult to do accurately. Plus, it limits your options because few can throw across heir chest to the other side of the field. It also forces a defense to consider the QB running the ball for cheap yards and will often open up a target downfield if they feel the QB is truly a threat to run.
it's sad that we are undefeated and up 12-0 at half and we all are depressed about this team. It is just obvious that we all know this won't last throughout the season. These games are supposed to be warm ups for the tough games later in the season. I keep talking myself off the ledge.
I know JJ is a good athlete and can make all the throws. I am saying he is not smart enough to grasp the playbook. That is the reason the coaches have to call all these dumb plays.
