3* LB out of GA is really feeling LSU after his visit this weekend. He said the coaches and campus experiences were better than both UGA and Bama and he gave the visit a 10. He moved to GA from Cali in the 8th grade and says he doesn't really have a place he calls home so finding a place he feels comfortable is very important. He holds offers from a ton of programs including LSU, UGA, GT, Bama, Miss St., Miami, Ole Miss, Tenn, Illinois, Stanford, NC State, VT, and WV. 6'0 192 4.55
Offer list he should easily be a 4 star. Just having offers from LSU, UGA, Bama, and Ole Miss should give you that much.
I have heard he is the #1 LB target for UGA. The guy is a player and fits perfectly to what Chavis is looking for.
Recruiting is so funny. 1st he's UGA's #1 choice at LB, then they are eliminated because of no room in the inn? Are those measurables right? 6'0 192lb linebacker? Maybe projects as a rover type. Got a 40 on him?
Scout has him running a 4.55 at their Combine. Seems a little inflated to me, but still a good sign that the kid can run.
Bhelm, I doubt we take Taylor until we find out about Shaun Lewis right? I thought I heard we were just going to take one more LB. They are both elite linebackers and I'd love to have them both but it just seems like Lewis is more of a John Chavis linebacker if he had to choose one. Have you heard anything about which one they are wanting to take?
