Top Performer Jeff Luc (Port St. Lucie, Fla./ Treasure Coast), ILB The linebacker prospect passed several tests starting with the eye ball test. He was a very impressive looking player who had layers of muscle stacked on his frame. In a group of some good looking prospects, Luc stood out. He also passed the performance test as he took home the linebacker MVP award. He continually showed throughout the camp that he is not all looks. In one drill, against the running backs, he was basically unblockable. He showed excellent quickness with the ability to either attack blockers with his club and swim moves or he simply ran through them. He also ran well in coverage drills and proved he belongs amongst the elite prospects in this class. My number one prospect right now period......
I am glad he is showing his stuff in camps like I said he needed to do. I heard a lot of rumors that he committed to Miami last week but he is still saying he is wide open and planning to come to LSU for a visit. Silent to Miami? Gely, I am still holding you to your prediction that he will be in the top 3 in both recruiting services and he will be a starter his freshman year.:hihi:
i will stick to him being in the top three...never said he would start think i said he will see the field in year one definately.....
JEFF LUC'S VISIT Hey bhelm i was wondering how his visit went i was surprised we got him down but mccarthy is a great recruiter...I just got excited about this years recruiting dont get me wrong.. we have some solid commits but this kid can and will be a difference maker from day one.......
He made a trip and saw many campuses over the last 2 weeks. He said the camp really opened his eyes but he did not have a top 5 list or anything but he did say LSU was up there. He liked the depth chart and DL. Did not say we are a lock to get an official but it is possible if we make his top 5. He is a long shot in my book because I do not see him leaving FL.
Why is he such a long shot, in the article that guy sounded really impressed. Like all other schools are the same, but we paid attention to his concerns.
