I'm with you and Mastermind, I don't feel he is that much of a long shot. It won't be easy, but we have a legit shot. We don't currenly have an ILB recruited. That's a plus.
He's really into the in-state schools. I never say never in recruiting (russell shepard didn't have LSU in his top 5 before he took a camp visit last year) but at this point I don't think he's leaving the state of Florida.
Exactly....I feel better knowing we have Chavis and a new defensive staff, not knocking the old staff, but all these Lb's we have now and will continue to recruit know what Chavis has done and see the guys he has put in the league.
Yea I was just wondering why folks think he is a long shot. I mean the LB roster at Florida is stacked, as is Florida St, I guess he be interested in Miami. But at LSU he could play right away.
I think he's probably hearing that he could step in and start right away at Florida too, since Brandon Spikes is graduating this year. Kind of like how they have 9 different "next percy harvin"s I dunno it's just really hard to get a guy from Florida that the big 3 in-state want as bad as they want Luc. We'll see, I guess..he's definitely worth a shot at.
Florida, Florida St, Georgia, and LSU are his top 4 according to espnu.com College Football Recruiting On the Trail 2010 - ESPN
Remember Harvey Williams & the press conference on tv when he stunned everyone & picked LSU. Thats the only way we are gonna get Luc. If he loves the limelight & wants to surprise everyone there's a chance. Otherwise I don't think so.. We might could outrecruit FS & maybe even Miami at times, but the Gators? They kinda get who they want at this point & probably for a long time to come.. Don't care how we get him, Just hope we do. Not feeling good about it for sure..
Don't see it anywhere else on the board, but if you scroll down this link, you'll see where the report Terrance Broadway committing to Houston today.
