Miles told him he has the speed to play on the outside but Les likes him as a MLB.

I hope he does play MLB. I just watched his video and he is very unique in the manner in which he plays. IMO he will almost never overrun a play from what I saw. He keeps his arms down by his side with little motion when he runs. His shoulders stay square to the line of scrimmage most of the time. He slides along the line and is very patient until he finds the ball carrier. He has no wasted motion and is always in a good tackling position. A very fundamentally sound LB.

Yeah I love his video and was most impressed with how he took on the big OLineman and shed them with ease.

Love to read in Dandy Don this morning that his lifelong dream was to play for the Tigers. That kind of passion will translate on the field. Welcome DJ.

I've seen this kid play several times against my old high school team. He has incredible instincts and is somehow always around the ball. Regardless of any 40 time or etc., DJ is very smart on the field and doesn't get caught out of position. With the exception of Mike Davis he is the prospect I'm most excited about right now. COuld be bias I guess b/c i've seen him play.

That's right where we thought he would run.. good to hear. I like the idea of having quick LBs in the middle.

Great Pickup plus the addition of the walk on with measureables(probably not a word) like that is great

I think it's good to have some quickness in the middle too; especially when you've got a guy like Welter who has shown an ability to shed blocks (which is CRITICAL for a Mike) and attack with good instincts.
