4* OLB and teammate of current LSU commit WR Mike Davis from Dallas, TX.

    6'1
    200
    4.58

Rated the #4 OLB in the country by Scout and would be a huge get at a position of need for LSU.

OU was thought to be the leader and Texas 2nd and LSU 3rd. However, I just heard from a friend of mine that there is a very strong possibility he will commit to LSU. However, I am not sure when.

He was scheduled to come in for the Spring game but has a group class project he has to work on today and it would be too late to drive down to Baton Rouge. He says he is coming into town as soon as possible.

Other teams in the running include A&M and Okie St.

I had seen some rumors that people thought he as going to end up here but I didn't put a whole lot of stock into them. I mean I know we're a player but I always hedge my bets with out of state kids.

It'd be great to have him

What? What? Michigan? Someone tell him it isn't fun to lose while you are freezing your tail off.

I don't see him ending up there, distance will be a factor.

OU, Texas, LSU, or A&M IMO.

Where in the hell did Michigan come from?

Why would you go to a formerly perennial powerhouse who is currently in a swirling vortex of FAIL that will likely be remembered as the worst years in the history of the proogram.

Hes playing us and Michigan, IMO. I think this guy is enjoying the process and I don't think he has legit interest in LSU. Hes only listening to Davis because hes his teammate, IMO.

I'm not convinced Nelson has solid interest in us until he starts showing it...

Michigan is the leader simply because of his teammates commitment.
