Check the 1st post for limited tidbits. As I reported after the June camp, the new SEC rule on camp coverage really limited the amount of information coming out during the camp.
DT Richard Ash out of FL made it in today. Before his visit I put us in 3rd for his commitment behind USC and FL. Lets see what changes after today.
Yeah, I could see LSU getting Ash if they make a push. Not sure where he stands on the board though. I would doubt USC would take him right now. He's good, but they could probably find better on the West Coast.
We are strong at the DE position, not so much at tackle. He received an offer earlier this month. I will be curious to find out if Pahokee's disqualification from the 7on7 last weekend will have any impact on how the coaches out here see him.....I have no idea what, if any, involvement he had.
He's a lineman, so I doubt he was there. Still, that program doesn't seem to have much discipline IMO. Either way, I said that bc I figured USC would get guys like Oku and Heimuli on the West Coast. You don't think they lead for those two?
I heard the Pahokee players were stealing either from other participants at the camp or from Nike. The HC did not argue and left without a fight.
We seem to be leading for both and they were both outstanding at RSC. Still, Ash received the offer without having made a trip out.
