    He was going to be Hitts replacement next year. :cuss: An upgrade in pretty much every aspect of Hitts game too.

    I dont get it how come LSU cant recruit top OL and then especially after this year any recruit smart would think he could come in and get significant playing time.

    One of the main reasons is because LA has not been producing very much talent at OL. We then have to fight Texas for the top talent which was very difficult because they had a big need for OL the last 2 years. Same with MS but they do not have the talent at OL that Texas has.

    This year has been somewhat of a down year for OL nationally as well. Only a handful to go around.

    Next year we have 2 or 3 top OL prospects and they all are leans to LSU and one committed already. Also Texas has less of a need next year from what I heard from a buddy of mine so we will be in the mix for some in Texas as well.

    There aren't a lot of football-playing high schools in Nebraska, so they recruit widely and hit on the JC players more than most big state schools.

    Yeah Red, they are all over the Juco's .

    Hardrick confirmed it wasn't an LSU/Nebraska thing but just a chance to play with friends.

    BTW, the LSU staff was not informed that he was going to switch.

    Looks like we will increase our efforts with Robinson now. He is at the AL/MS all star game practices saying LSU might get a visit from him.

    I now understand why it was a easy call to switch to NU.

    He did not have the grades he was expecting and instead of coming into LSU as an early enrollee he would have had to take another semester at his Juco to get qualified. Or he could go to NU right away with his friends.

    Easy call...
