Out of Edna Karr HS (same school as Munchie) says the LSU staff has been recruiting him. He was disappointed that the staff felt he was an OL prospect instead of a DT. He would be a LSU lock if we want him on the DL and he wants to prove to the staff that he should be on defense at one of the camps this summer.

Offers from Miss St, Ole Miss, FIU, McNeese, and USM. With interest from Tenn and Michigan.

Distance will be a factor he says.

Unless he comes on like Downs did last year it will be hard to get a DT offer from LSU. Some positions we recruit well and that is one of them. He also doesn't have the prototypical DT height that we seem to favor. Meaning he is a bit tall if he is truly 6-4. How often do you hear that, he's too tall rather than too short?

4.8 is definitely fast for a DT if that is correct, so speed isn't shifting him to the OL. Plus at 6'4" he has plenty height to add a little weight. Usually the faster more athletic linemen end up on D.

DT/Offensive Guard. A little tall for a DT.. so i'd guess if we got him we'd stick him at guard.

Height isn't a factor ask Al Woods, it's basically if our staff thinks he is good enough to play defense at a powerhouse D-1 school
