Then watch these highlights. Not sure if no one thought he was worth blocking or if he is so quick off the line and to the ball that no one can stop him. Either way, these highlights are ridiculous.

I've seen conflicting reports about his weight...some say 240 others say closer to 260...If he's closer to 260 then I think he could put on some weight be a DT...if that is the case I would much rather him than Brandon Jackson.

Well if the coaches would rather Jackson instead of JC, then I quit!

JC is an amazing athlete...I haven't seen film like that in a while.

jackson looks like a guy walking on the moon.

JC's film is simply amazing, but I've seen several amazing high school athletes get passed over by major conference schools because they weren't blessed with the physical attributes/size to be able to be as great at the next level.

Also, I haven't given it too much thought, but I've been reading some stuff lately on how an issue with the LSU D-line is that they are too small, and that we are short on big run-stuffing/hole-plugging D-lineman.

I also read that taking Jackson will help us get his Evangel teammate Jermauria Rasco, one of the most elite DE prospects in the nation for '11 (maybe this could factor in why Saban is going after Jackson as well).

Finally, I don't know if this tells the whole story, but Jackson has more scholarship offers than JC does... and the reigning national champs Bama only gave Jackson a scholarship, not JC.

JC Copeland: Tennessee, South Carolina, Auburn, Ole Miss, Louisville, Maryland, USF, Southern Miss

Brandon Jackson: Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Arkansas, Miss State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Colorado, Baylor, Kansas State, Virginia, La Tech, Tulane

They need to offer him. This kid is better than Jackson imo.

Didn't read it but LSU and Tenn fans are saying it is looking good for LSU. He is going home to talk it over with his family and will have a decision on NSD between LSU, Tenn, and South Florida.

awesome, thanks Bhelm. Hope we can land him. Looks to be a great pass rusher with that explosion off the line.
