Re: 2010 DE Houston Bates I have to admit that he does intrigue me at linebacker. He's way too small for DE at the college level but 6'2 225 is definitely big enough to play linebacker, and he's quick. I think he claims a 4.6 in the 40. We are itching for quality linebackers..I'd take Shaun Lewis over Bates but Bates definitely has the physical gifts to work with.

Re: 2010 DE Houston Bates Guy has great instincts. Seems to have a real nose for the ball and an aggressiveness you can't teach. He'd look great tearing it up in Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights.
