LSU offered 4* DE Geneo Grissom a couple of weeks ago out of Kansas.

He is under the radar because he committed to Kansas back in early June.

    6'4
    230
    4.6

He is still committed but LSU has given him something to think about and he is listening.

He is #85 in the videos:

he looks really quick, should be able to add good weight and keep speed. Do we have room for him though?

With these 2 recent offers and holding out hope for Ego. I would say the staff would take one of the 3.

If an offer goes out this late in the game you have to think we would accept.

He knows how to shed blockers really well. He really sets up the offensive lineman, actually uses them as a wall to push off of.

    Well Mangino is now gone.

Got to help LSU's chances some.

Think the LSU staff wants a DE, now?

Ego, Geneo, and now Lemonier all on LSU's board. Not saying all will want to commit to LSU but Ego and Lemonier are guys you can't pass on and Grissom is a beast in his own right.

TSD is reporting he will take an official to LSU in late January.

He said his final decision will be pushed back to NSD. FYI, he is still committed to Kansas.

Geneo Grissom's head coach of Hutchinson High, has confirmed that LSU has been eliminated and that Geneo will choose between Kansas and Oklahoma.

    Knew that was coming...

Reports are that he really wants to stay in-state and Kansas made a solid hire to keep him but I am sure they could have hired anybody and he would have stayed.
