re: Tyrann Mathieu COMMITS TO LSU!!!!! Under the radar guy out of NOLA. Blew it up at a Tennessee camp. Kinda small. Makes me think the coaches like him more than Hurd, since the knock on Hurd was lack of height. This guy's about 5'9 170 ish. Maybe 5'10. Got good recovery speed...good cover skills. Lots of talent. Measurables? - He'll be a 3 star when it's said and done...most likely.
re: Tyrann Mathieu COMMITS TO LSU!!!!! The fact that he likely beat out Hurd and a few other very good CBs is enough for me. One of the best DB coaches in the nation in Cooper.. he's definitely one coach I won't be second guessing :wave: He's got great agility and is a very good cover corner. I think he's a solid pickup.

I think bhelm only mentioned him bc I have been constantly pimping this guy over the last month! :hihi: He blew up at the Tennessee camp, and then his film on Rivals is very impressive. He'll be at minimum a high 3* when the new rankings come out, and a 4* isn't out of the realm of possibility. Very good pickup IMO that I'm happy about. :geaux:

Wow--a shocker for all but the big dawgs in the know, and that aint me. Now we need some reassurance on people that have seen him play or some footage of him. Well at least he won't have to get used to a different color uniform.

Good Lord! 14 year old freshman...over 6' tall and over 200 lbs...solid muscle! Impressive...at least passes the eye test with flying colors.
