    2010 WR Curtis Carter

3* out of Stonewall, LA will be coming to the July camp in hopes of landing a LSU offer. He did not receive one at the June Camp but I do not recall if he was participating in the camp.

Currently plays QB for North DeSoto HS but LSU is looking at him as a possible CB or slot WR.

    6'1
    185
    4.41

He holds offers from Bama, Mizzou, Nebraska, La Tech, Northwestern St., McNeese St. and TCU.

He is being recruited as a WR by all schools.

Good to see he understands the process.

helm, thought I'd bring him up again bc kid is blowing up. Rivals all but declared him a future 4*. At a recent combine, he ran a sub 4.4 40, a 37 inch vertical, and also had a great shuttle time. They said he not only was fast in a straight line, but changed direction well too at WR.

I really think this guy could draw an offer at camp, what do you think? In particular, if he shows he can play CB, there would seem to be a good chance. If a WR only, it may be trickier.

Either way, I'm not sure that this kid wouldn't be the fastest guy on the roster once he made it to campus, right up there I'd say with a guy like Calhoun. That by itself may be worth a schollie considering we lose Holliday on KR.

5ft 10in tall & 161#, that is a small guy for cornerback but with 4.3 speed anythings possible... I love speed guys, Hope he has a good camp. Question, when Rivals shows no visit scheduled they are talking about official visits not camps, right???

I think LSU will take him if they're still hard on Fobbs and he falls through. That and the possibility of losing Reed or another WR commits somewhere else, IMO. Will be sitautional. Depends on who decommits and who we lost out on. Then I could see him landing a offer as a backup plan.

Not really sure if we take him or not. Seems to me we may have one more ATH slot available and Carter wants to be a WR along with Fobbs and Wright. I think we could squeeze one of these guys in this class.
