You need to re-watch Storms video.. or at least watch the whole thing. Numerous clips of him breaking tacklesr, carrying the pile, showing great agility, and even flashing excellent vision. Make no doubt about it.. Storm is a very good prospect. He's not even the starter yet.. but don't be shocked if he winds up in the top-100 with a solid senior campaign.
He breaks tackles bc he's a big dude that has 160 lb white kids trying to tackle him in the open field. You don't see him lowering his pads and punishing people like you saw from Charles Scott, Stevan Ridley, etc in high school. With his running style to this point, those tackles won't be broke in the SEC. Have you ever asked yourself why he wasn't the starter yet?
One possible reason is because he does play QB the sack yardage is deducted from his rushing total as is any negative rushing yards.
I can't second guess the coach. For all I know the starting RB could be the coaches or a boosters son. I don't think anyone says that Storm is less talented than the 1st stringer.. and he is the starter heading into his senior season. There were quite a few clips of Storm blowing people up. Just watch his senior season.. his stock will continue to rise. He's got a hell of a chance to end up in the Rivals100. I think Ware is better. He's bigger and runs with about the same speed/agility. Storm is no slouch.
A 5'6" white kid who signed with Air Force. Their OL had two guys who are going to UGA, and maybe another prospect or two.
i have seen more than two minutes of film on storm and as far as his competition i would have to believe it is better than the competition in ohio....frankly if u dont think storm is a better recruit than ware my GOD look again.........I am in no way deameaning our class.. i like it i just dont think we have a true difference maker so far of course they can play with anybody but i dont think we hav an elite prospect yet.....
Ok, I'm sorry, you've seen a whopping 5 minutes of highlights on him, none of which show toughness btw the tackles. You are going to use 5 minutes of highlights to discard what is thought of by coaches, analysts, and fans that have actual seen him play multiple entire games; and don't think as highly of him as you do? You are going to discount that he didn't start for his team, that he transferred from the school, and that there are bad feelings caused by that transfer? I don't know about you, but it sounds like you are way overrating his highlight film, putting too much importance into it, or not seeing the entire picture on him.
Ok so Miles and his staff who obviously know nothing about evaluating talent offered Ware over Storm because............
