btw tOSU guys on the rivals mainboard give this guy rave reviews...one of the first kids this year from ohio to get an offer from them and they only have 46 out total. also plays against the toughest competition in the state. supposedly his mom has uga connections and he has been wanting to head back down south to play ball. given the way our depth chart will look next year with keiland and cscott graduating, i don't think he could have made a better choice.

Well, I would say LSU has a ton to offer, the RBs that are left are all leaving so plenty of room for OPPORTUNITY to play. You basically need 3 guys at RB at any level now and in LSU's case probably 4.

If you are top RB prospect opportunity awaits at LSU.

The days of 25-30 carries no longer exist at really any level anymore. You have to find a program that gives you opportunity but is also not willing to ride the horse into the ground. LSU has balanced that out nicely between all the RBs if you ask me.

Exactly. With LSU's national rise and the new national media exposure coming with the new ESPN deal, these players realize they can get the same exposure, if not more, by sharing the ball and staying healthy.

I have no idea why a RB would want 25-30 carries every game.... every once in a while, yes. There is no way you are going to survive for long with that many carries. Also, if your team switches the pace up it helps everyone.

LSU has shown the best guy gets the ball but doesn't ruin their bodies in the process, the days of Earl Campbell are gone. Now the OC for LSU did bother me with some of the stuff with QB last year but over the last 2 years he has done a great job of switching the guys in at RB. Hester was the best but he couldn't do it alone, Scott is the best now but he can't do it alone. The only other option you have is run the spread and put WRs in at RB.

A top RB would be crazy not to look at LSU right now. All the teams are going with spreads, well, to me that is playing WRs at RB, which is fine but most of the RBs are sitting on the sidelines. LSU mixes it up good IMHO.

I'd much rather have storm as our big back....i mean what's going on..we have a solid class nothing to get excited about in my opinion i dont think we have a true difference maker in the class yet...i thought storm was our best recruit but does'nt look like that's going to happen

Ok BhelmLSU, how many RBs are we going after this year? I guess we can put Strom Johnson down as a commitment. Now we have Ware, so I take it we have one more spot for Seastrunk? Am I right?

Thank God we have a person like BhelmLSU to ask questions about LSU.

I don't think we're taking Storm. We're either using him as a backup plan, need further evaluation on his senior season or just cutting communication off with him. Blue could be a possibility with Seastrunk because Blue might be going Prep/Juco route.
