Great tape on him... Looks like a great spread QB but with 4.4 speed he could play anywhere... Another recruit from out of the blue.. never saw him mentioned on here. Welcome Mr Gibson the newest Tiger!!!!:geaux:
Obviously. Dont look at the actual times...just compare it to the guys he was running against. Shinn is a fast dude. The actual hundredth is sort of irrelevant.
Exactly. If he can run with Shinn he is fast enough. He out ran him at this combine.. and that's all I need to know. He also outran Bama commit Nick Perry (Safety)
He also tested really well in the vertical jump and long jump. And they worked him out at safety, and he seemed surprisingly natural for someone with no experience there. I conversed with an analyst who was there, and he was very impressed. They can't guarantee that he'll be a 4*, but he said he was a great pickup as a safety prospect. At the least, he will be moved up to a high 3*. But a 4* sounds like it's possible. Either way, this guy looks like he was a great find by Cooper as a safety prospect. And Aubie was stupid not to have offered him when you consider the lack of talent on their roster.
Looks to me that they may have copied Rivals' list so far. After Gibson gets a bump from Rivals after his Combine performance, he will be higher.
