    QB from Prattville, AL. Great HS program. UVA really liked him. Didn't know LSU was even interested. He is coming to UVA's camp this Saturday. He would get a shot at QB at UVA or wide receiver but looks like he will be a Tiger. Congradulations, we would have loved to get him.

    Here is a quote from that article.

    "I accepted as soon as they offered.” the Prattville, Alabama native said. ”Ever since my recruiting process started I wanted to be an LSU Tiger.”
    Gibson took an unofficial visit to LSU early in the recruiting process and has been looking forward to coming back to Baton Rouge ever since.
    “I didn’t know much about them when the recruiting (process) started.” Gibson said of his new college, “But after meeting the coaches and taking in the atmosphere, I felt comfortable here, it gave me chills.”

    Wonder what the Alabama Fans think about Gibson signing with LSU? I bet they are saying Coach Satan didn't want him.

    I think either them or Auburn might try something late but he seems pretty solid to me.

    yeah, "chills" = conversion of blood from red to purple and gold - happens everytime and their ain't no turning back.

    Same thing many fans said here about Sentimore and Lacy, they are saying the Bama staff slow played him too long, etc... But that is just the nature of the game, slow play the in-state recruits and take your chances because if you offer too early you may get stuck with someone you have not evaluated fully, potentially scare away guys higher on your board, and/or before grade issues are resolved.
