If we take Fobbs now, we aren't getting Boone, and Boone is a better WR than Fobbs...correct?

I think Fobbs missed his boat.

Are you guys high on Fobbs?

Thoughts on Fobbs since Williams committed?

I imagine that the coaching staff knows the pulse of how Fobbs feels about coming to LSU and they offered the Williams kid. It's not really the time to play the waiting game and I imagine that's the message they want to send to all their remaining recruits...including Boone.

I dont think its embarrassing at all because LSU had players higher on their board and really are coming on hard late because some of our commits didnt honor their word.So actually he should sign with Texas A&M they were on him from Day 1 and he should honor his word. We get upset with players that commit, say all positive stuff and then out the blue decommit so I can't get mad at the mom.

I agree with you fully. Sounds like a smart, honorable kid to me and I wish him the best. We will do fine at WR. Initially, we did not want Fobbs at WR anyway.

I think WR is one of those positions coming out of HS that a kid may not be as highly rated, but will mature physically, and if they have a strong work ethic can really improve. I mean TT was a 5* and hasn't blown it up yet - with yet being the key word for him. I don't think he was overrated, and feel he will be dynamite if we can get him the ball, but point being 5* does not mean instant success, and 3* does not mean they will not be great.

Having said all that, would definitely like to get Boone!

They've showed that since July of '09... But there's also an article (dated 1/22/10) on there for members that says Fobbs has taken a lot more interest in LSU. I won't say it's a sure thing, but I wouldn't say it's not. We'll find out in a few days.

Bhelm doesnt do homework...homework does itself for Bhelm
    Bhelm>Timmy
But for real Fobbs has been commited to A&M. I actually think Fobbs would be a better RB than WR.

    :hihi:

Zdub, Fobbs has been committed to A&M for awhile. Everyone who made the visits this weekend was committed somewhere.

Could be looking pretty good here with Fobbs?

Boone, Fobbs, Wright, and Williams, will make me forget about Davis and Hunter.
