I have at times thought the NBA was a basketball version of the WWE. All scripted. Having 4 of your officials graduate from the same high school also aided in that thought, especially since 1 of the 4 was Tim Donaghey. I don't know if the NBA is fixed or not, but I am pretty sure David Stern has the officials control the games, maybe not the outcome, but definitely the flow of the game. Example, the Dallas and OKC series. All you heard about after game 1 was how Dirk went to the line 24 times. He hasn't gone to the foul line more than 5 times a game since, and has been assaulted by Nick Collision everytime he touches the ball. The refs control every aspect of the game, and to be honest, it's another reason I only watch the playoffs. Tom Thibideaux mentioned Rose not getting calls last night, watch how many times he goes to the line in the next game in Chicago.
dude get off of collisons back. He is just D-ing up your craut and you don't like it. Nick is a straight up beast, solid D, rebounds like his life depended on it, nails at the FT line, deadly within 15ft. You are just pissed that he isn't wearing a mav's uni. assault, give me a freaking break.
You and every other OKC fan are the only ones who feel that way. Everyone else who has ever watched a basketball game in their lives knows he is fouling the sh!t out of Dirk, and that kraut is still dropping 40. It's ok though, you can watch him in the finals. It's cool though, I would be upset too if my team blew a 15 point lead to a bunch of senior citizens with under 5 left to play. Maybe we can end your suffering tonight.
Suffering, right, thats what I call a team with 4 0f 5 less than 25 years old and many playing only their 2nd year in the league. WCF in their 3rd year as a team. The future for this team is just so dim.
Sweet, I thought the blown lead was awesome too. No one ever said the future is dim dude. I have praised the Thunder. I know you don't like me, honestly I don't care, but when the basketball experts are saying there should have been multiple fouls called on Collision, in the 4th of game 4, i'm going to tend to listen to them and not some fan of the Thunder, who i guess has been a basketball fan for 2 years. Good try though, and good luck tonight.
You act like this is the first time this has ever happened to any team. Lets see, what team was it that blew a 23 pt lead not long ago to portland? Oh thats right, the mavs did. Memphis blew a big lead to OKC, OKC has blown big leads all season long, it is a trademark of theirs. One that they need to fix but it happens. Hell they were giving Chuck all kinds of grief last night because his team choked off a 17 pt lead with 2 min left back when he was playing. Spit dirks little schnizzle out of your mouth and let em play. ps, its not that I don't like you, I don't like 99.9% of what you have to say.
I give it up to the Mav's, they are a good squad. Once again the blunder figure out a way to lose a game after having a lead through most of it. Something they really need to work on for next year. I'll be pulling for Dallas from here on out, especially if they play the 'brons. It will cost me a benny if they don't take it.
how many times has westbrook had double digits assists? they cannot win with him at pg against finals-caliber teams. im glad I came out with my comments on wb even when he was doing great. Now all the experts are repeating what I said last week. i feel like an nba expert. fyi: the nba analysis and experts are so far superior to anyone in any other sport its not even funny. hubie brooks, kenny smith, barkley, dr jack, mark jackson, jalen howard, etc etc. the disparity is crazy. edit I meant jalen rose. that dude says some really good stuff. even the leg-riding chihuahua van gundy is good.
