Usually Mastermind starts this thread, but the big homie is late b/c the season started last night.

There's alot to watch this season....power shift to the East? Will Heat live up to Hype? Are the Lakers glory days behind them? Will Melo go to New York to make things even more interesting in the East? Can the Celtics win it all?

    Should be a decent season.

At least you have a dog in the fight every year.

My Knicks ain't even sniffed the playoffs in a decade or more.

I didn't know it until about a half hour before our fantasy draft, but I got first pick.

Damn LeBron. I took Durant. I'm very happy with my pick.

I watched a little of the Hornets game last night, and spent much of the time saying, "who are these guys?" Major turnover in the roster, but they got the win, even without Marcus Thornton having a big night. Ariza looks like he will be a nice addition, as does Bellineli. On the other hand, they've got four guys who can play the post, and none of them look like they know what to do with the rock when it gets in their hands.

Ill be pulling against the Heat as much as Im pulling for the Magic.

LaBron has just started another season pursuing excellence as the best ever at losing championships! Only this year he'll be dragging D-Wade down along with him :(

The Heat look confused at this point, but I guess that should be expected. The Magic looked good last night and the Lake show keeps rolling along. I expect another Laker vs Celtic final honestly unless the Magic find away to get over the top and Vince Carter and Rashad Lewis finally grow some nuts.
