I honestly cannot wait to see the kick return guys at work. And I think Mingo is going to open up alot for the pass rush. But most importantly, I'm excited as hell to see the kick return guys!

Shep returning punts....man that would be fun to watch. Bet you would see a lot of teams just kick the ball right out of bounds. Hopefully he's got the jugs gun set up this summer, like Trindon did last year.

I updated mine with Tahj Jones backing up Francois for now. Maybe Maclin passes him up later but he is on the 2 deep as of now.

I don't think Maclin would fit in that role. Looks more like a MLB to me.

That is where Chavis has had him since he arrived and where Maclin says he is going to be lined up in the fall. He could end up at MLB at some point but Chavis really likes his speed on the outside for now and Minter may wrap up that MLB spot for a couple of years after Sheppard. Sounds like Chavis wants him on the field.

JMPO of course but barring injuries I don't think you will see anybody on the field this fall that you didn't see in the spring scrimmage.

At linebacker I don't see how they can keep Minter off the field. I wouldn't be surprised if by mid season Minter is in the middle with Sheppard moved to the outside. That would put their best two linebackers on the field. Also a lot of people poo poo the spring games and I agree you have to take them for what they are but you can get an idea of who can play and I think too much is being made of Adams. Not saying Adams can't play but Mingo is better. I'm looking for Aghayere to be the first down guy on that side. Our front four is DEEEP so I think you'll see a lot of rotation there. Loston will take over from Eugene by midseason.

I hear what you're saying, but I can easily point to numerous examples of players busting up the Spring Game, and doing nada in the season.

The lack of full tackling is not insignificant, especially when the RBs and QB know they won't get hit.

I'd say the Spring Game is more useful in terms of individual execution and squad scheme, and knowing the play book, than in figuring out who will dominate and who will not.

Minter will definitely get playing time, but don't sleep on Baker. His speed is gonna be valuable against the spread.
