I'm a noob to SEC football, but from the school I am transferring from (Big 12 school) to LSU this fall, it looks like SEC refs are somehow even worse than Big 12 refs!

Welcome to the board, and welcome to the SEC. The home of the best damn football in the country. Which school are you transfering from and which are you transfering to? Logical answer is LSU, but would like to know for sure. To address your comment, SEC refs are the best money can bribe.

They don't want it fixed. These examples are glaring enough, imagine if they weren't couched in overall ineptitude?

I would love to see a video of all the missed holding calls. If I recall correctly one team had quite the run of not having the offensive line flagged for holding. I bet a video on that could win an award as a comedic documentary. Remember the old saying, "holding could be called on every play".

Holding wasn't a foul last year, apparently. In game after game and with every team, flagrant holding was allowed. By the end of the season defensive linemen were getting mugged.

Probably the most missed call in all of sports, oh forgot about traveling in the NBA.

Not just because it was bama (well maybe a little, it is why I remember the play), but a great example from the bama\gator game was a standing bama player holding onto a jersey of a gator player who was on the ground. The jersey was stretched a couple of feet, but no call. The guy had been flung to the ground by his jersey and the grip was so tight the bama player had not yet let go.

Addition to all of the horrible calls we saw this doesn't include the horrible calls during the bowl season. (However I don’t know if the refs for our "mud bowl" were SEC or not) I am referring to the "heads up play" by the Penn St douche that caused Lyle Hitt to get that personal foul sealing the game for them.

On a side note I have a friend that is a Gump alumni and when he calls this shows up on my phone.....................

From Texas Tech to LSU. Anyone know a good place to live in Baton Rouge for an incoming LSU transfer student?

If you want to be close to it all, I like the north gate area. You can walk to class....and to the bars.:yelwink2:
