Him and Donavan Tate from GA are both great ATH they can play many positions both sides of the ball and we have a shot at both.
LSU has never had more than three 5 stars in a single class. I wouldn't expect next year to be any different.
Early indications of LA's talent level for 2009 sure look promising. Should be one of our best classes. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Shepard is as confident as they get. Good to see he is not worried about depth at the QB spot and the 2 other top QBs out of Texas have LSU on the radar. http://www.statesman.com/horns/content/sports/stories/longhorns/02/09/0209recruiting.html
I was just looking at Rivals for 2009 LA prospects. They have 4 LA kids in their Top 100, but I noticed that RB Michael Ford was not in that list and is listed as "NR" (injury his JR yr). Also, WR Kenny Bell from Rayville was listed as a "NR" and obviously not it that Top 100. When does Rivals complete the 2009 Rankings? I know it's way early, but I am really excited about the class of 2009. I think the coaches have to get on them early, stay on them, and the sales pitch "we have 2 crystal footballs in the trophy case" should help us sign anyone that wants to play for a winner. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Who knows. Based on the comments from the Rivals fellow posted in another thread, they don't seem to pay that much attention to kids in Louisiana. :rolleye33:
If LSU needs a Project next season they should take a good look at this WR. http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=rivals-200113&prov=rivals&type=lgns
Just watched Cierre Wood's film is there any shot at him? I know we got great RBs in state just wondering. IMO Bryce Brown is better than him though
