At 5'1 I can understand why he has no offers. :hihi:

I guess you didn't hear that midgets are "in" this year.

    Thx, fixed it.

That's true of all D1 schools, because high schools often have to play their best athletes out of their natural position in order to maximize their talent on the field.

It's not quite the guess you make it out to be for coaches to switch a player's position. They've often played the position part-time in HS, and the coaches have been able to see them play it during our camps. Even if not, success at most positions is based primarily on build & athleticism (besides the intangibles). The coaches can evaluate that without seeing them actually play the position.

That's a huge reason why coaches want kids to come work out at their camps...to evaluate them at the positions and in the situations they want them to - which may be entirely different than what they played in HS.

Michael Ford came in at 155 in case anyone's wondering. 4* recruit.

5 of the 7 LSU commits are in the 250. The only ones left out are Josh Downs and Henry Orelus.

#187 DE DeQuinta Jones (4*) Bastrop

#202 LB Rufus Porter (4*) Destrehan

#235 OL Patrick Lewis (4*) East St. John

Sonny seems to be pretty high on Barrow..

Hes fast. Makes plays from sideline to sideline and hes very physical.

I don't really know the other guys.

DeQuinta Jones is very good, don't be surprised if he ends up getting an offer as I believe he is on the list just behind players like Okafor.
