My guess would be Kevin Minter, Barkevious Mingo, and Tahj Jones (assuming he gets his grades together).

According to Scout LSU is listed as schools of intrest with eight 5* players. Only two of them play Quarterback - Shepard & Green. They, because of the position would be kinda competing with each other for playing time if they went to the same school so getting both would be kinda hard. Two others play Defensive Tackle - McFarland & Davenport , no problem there as both could start at some point. The others, Kennard, Loston, Randall & Miller all play different positions. What are our chances, can we get them all?? Can we get half of them?? Shepard is already comitted so we need three more for half of them.. Could we do better, say get 5-6 of them??

Istlsls thinks we will land fifteen 5 stars. :hihi:

I think we land 4 (according to Rivals, which gives out fewer 5 stars).

Four - six players that are rated 5* would be pretty neat & may be a low estimation. But I will restrand myself... to darn early to get excited now.. Maybe by October we will have a good idea of whats going on.. But, I am a little concerned about Louisiana Players not committing to LSU.. YET!!

Or it may be a high estimation.

LSU has only signed three 5 stars in a single class once, and while it is very possible that we beat that - it doesn't seem likely that we double it.

It is already apparent that this is going to be a GREAT class, and we should be excited even if we don't know exactly who will finish it up.

 Wouldn't have it any other way...

theyre young and want to have fun. dont worry about them -- plus, you have top remember it is still very early and only a very small percentage commit to any school this early. we will do just fine. :thumb:

    Russell Shepard
    Rueben Randle
    Chris Davenport

Then it's possible that Michael Ford becomes a 5 star, but I don't expect it (and not because he doesn't deserve it).

Otherwise, there are no 5 star guys that I feel confident in predicting for LSU, but we have a good shot with a couple guys I expect to be 5 stars, which is why I predict 4.

Would be great if Ford sneaks into the 5 star group.

We all know he is 5 star potential, so that's all that matters in reality.

Davenport, Kennard, Savage, Loston....plenty others that LSU might have a decent shot at in the end.

I'll stick with my prediction of 5.

Kennard would be an incredible pick-up.

    His highlights are insane.
