I should go see him play... although Newberry is 2 hours away from Chucktown, its only 30 minutes away from my momma's house... and I've been meaning to go home and visit... guess I got a reason.
He is big and fast. He plays for Faith Academy and they are moving up divisions this year to 5A in Mobile, which is one of the most rich rich divisions in high school football. So basically we will see how good he is now as Faith Academy was AISA. In Alabama pretty much all schools, public and private, compete in regular 1A-6A athletics. Just a handful are in AISA, so I wouldn't base much on his current videos when they come out. They ran the wing T last year and are looking to move more to a spread this upcoming season. Cotton apparently has a cannon and was recently offered by Auburn. He and Mosley (QB) are known as the sleepers in the area.

I think he & Ford will be the 2 RBs we take this year. I was starting to think we'd have to go in a different direction with his early commitment, but I feel pretty good about our chances now.
Do you think we have a shot at Lamar Miller? His strength, height and speed remind me a lot of Chris Wells. Would we take 3 of the 4 (Lacy, Ford, Miller, Michael)?
