I think this thing will be over in the next couple of weeks. Conner will become a Tiger and we can all forget about what transpired.

Is that like going to Mecca?

No offense, but a lot of people here don't consider you a reliable source, as you are obviously biased. I know what that is like. I remember watching the most dominant high school player I had ever seen back when I lived on the Mississippi coast several years ago. This guy was incredible, putting a stiff arm on 270 D linemen running away and tossing 50+ yard touchdowns. He was truly electrifying to watch! He was SO GOOD I was 100% convinced he would be a great college QB and I would be watching him on Sundays.

As it turned out, this kid was a flop in college at QB. He was a solid receiver, but for a mediocre team with a rather bad QB (who he apparently could not beat out for the job).

Moral of the story: despite my certainty, I am not a good judge of football talent. Sorry to tell you this: chances are, neither are you. (I genuinely do not mean any offense when I say this!)

(Extra points to anyone who knows the player I'm talking about.)

No and no. Quarterback -- MS gulf coast. Another clue: late 90s-early 00s. (Before the internet recruiting fan boom -- so no records on Rivals or Scout.)

    5A football.

Is it the hobbit Biblo Bagans from Moss Point, MS?? I remember watching him play against West Monroe and he ended up committing to Georgia Tech where he played Receiver? Could it be?
