    Hopefully immediately followed by Kiffen pulling another of his trademark "did he just say/do that?" moments. Tennessee fans must be a bit wary by now...

    Yeah, I think he's a Vol, too.

    Shocker.

    I'm not trying to sound bitter, but he is making a huge mistake, IMO. I hope he doesn't mind playing for a school while they're on probation.

    If he goes to Tennessee he'll end up pumping gas for the rest of his life. Seriously... is crazy that attractive? I guess if folks are attracted to crazy, better off that we don't have them.

    Of course, if we were Volunteer fans, we'd all be pretty ecstatic.

    Would love to see him in P&G. But it doesn't make sense unless he just really falls in love with LSU. He won't play this year. He'll fight Murphy, Ridley and Ford next year. And the following year, we'll likely have one or two of the great backs in the 2010 class competing for time.

    Of course, if I had my eyes open, I wouldn't sign on with Tourrettes boy at UT, either.

    If he's smart, he stays in Kansas, becomes a local hero, and avoids hits from 8 SEC defenses each year...

    I have no inside knowledge on how his visit went here, but to me it looks like coach Miles and his staff gave him the first class tour of the campus and athletic facilities; showed him where he would fit in with Crowton's offense and the team; told him he would have a scholarship at LSU if he wanted to come here and left it at that. It doesn't look like Miles is the type to beg anybody to come here. LSU, unlike Tennessee has one of the classiest programs in the nation and will have no trouble attracting premier RB's like Seastrunk, Lattimore, Dyer, Cobbs, Johnson, etc. We really don't have to beg at all. If Brown wants to come here... great. If not... see ya later (and I don't mean in the SEC championship game either.)

    Tennessee was probably kissing this kids rear and begging him to come play there. I'm sure Kiffen and his staff were hounding this kid, showing him "love", promising him the world etc. because they really need to. There's a difference between this and recruiting someone hard. Just look at how we recruited Trent Richardson and how Saban recruited Ruben Randle. All class without "pumping gas".

    His brother Arthur almost went here and he regrets it now. Shannon will probably release him only if he goes to Tulane or Rhode Island State so he's stuck like Chuck. I see no reason to believe that Kiffen would do otherwise for any of his players.

    No sour grapes here if he doesn't choose LSU, it's more a case of ..."Next".

    im not. just like i wont be surprised when they get put on probation for something within the next 5 years.

    So he made a surprise visit to UT a three days before he announces and they say we're the front runner? And it's a UT site?
