Id love to get BB just as much as anyone here. Some of you drink WAY too much purple and gold kool aid though. Which is fine because youre a die hard Tiger fan, still, I rather see things objectively. Im in agreement with Cparso on this one. I dont really see LSU having a getting BB when all is said and done.

The fact is LSU is the most championship ready. Every high profile kid wants the title, but there are so many other factors. What some of you dont realize is for some LSU just isnt the right place. LSU is jumping in the race late, which does hurt once the euphoria of the trip wears off. It not easy to understand why a kid would choose most schools over LSU, but sometimes theres just not the feeling they want here and more so elsewhere. Just look at Richardsons quote saying that he didnt feel friendly with the players until late.

Also, Oregan and K-State arent championship ready but often times they are just a few players away. Bill Snyder had K-State contending for the Big 12 just a few years ago. In three or four years you never know, plus BB could be the center piece there and Oregan. As for Oregan, Oregan St was a Quizz injury away from winning the Pac 10.

I'd love to get this guy. He'd be a tremendous asset for us as we recapture the SEC west next year, as I fully expect.

the last post on potential players site just felt contrived to me. I think he wants people to keep guessing. We got in on it late and we are intriguing to him but that's it. he's got too much history with the other schools. I hope i'm wrong.

You hit the nail on the head. You can't trust the website run by his "mentor". It is my understanding that it is a pay site. If that is true it is logical that the man would want to string out the process as long as possible to keep the cash rolling in. Wow, that is exactly what has happened isn't it. We are all so surprised! Now if you keep as many schools in the mix as possible those fans pay for information. So after the LSU visit it is announced that all went well and he is seriously considering us. If this "mentor" could get away with it, I think he would try to keep every Division 1 school in the mix until it was time for the kid to actually enroll.:(

Which would surely lead to investigation by the NCAA.

My guess is that this is why Miami is backing away. Imagine this, its at the point now that it would be an even bigger circus if he did go to Miami.

Then the questions would really begin as to what was the real motives behind this extended recruitment. Not only that, committing to Miami would put only more pressure on Bryce to perform. Bryce has already mentioned in an interview that he doesn't want to go somewhere where he plans on saving the program.

And in his first year hear, he would just be a piece to a great puzzle. Less stress on the individual, but any plays or contributions will be highlighted because collegiate football spotlight shines brightest in the SEC.

Ask yourself this, what 17 year old kid with reasonable parents would put themselves through this much scrutiny. The story has turned more negative then positive, and if he really wanted to be in Miami, all he' have to do is sign and fax in a letter.
