I would love for us to land this guy but I just don't think its gonna happen. Let's face it, we've got more running backs who are gonna want quality playing time and I think there's practically no chance this kid will redshirt. Tough pill to swallow but that's how it goes sometimes.

Well LSU situation looks better than Miami's IMHO for PT

Miami has two or 3 top quality backs Sophomores and Juniors, and one Freshman.. WE have two seniors..and then it's really really foggy who will be the guy to carry the lunch pale..

Ridley, Murphy and Ford? We need another top back..

Tennessee, Brown could maybe start?

Oregon also, might could start...I don't really know the RB situation..

LSU is the best fit, for TV exposure, career PT, meaningful games and Tiger Stadium that is hard to beat.. Way better than Dolphin Stadium.. Will any of those teams have the OL we will have or the team talent of LSU, I don't think so

LSU has a 50% chance of landing this kid...Miles has been in his ear enough to earn a visit..Obviously if Brown didn't have doubts about Miami's new OC and over all program direction, he would have signed already..

The Visit this weekend will tell all... for him and LSU..we will know a lot more before he leaves

Scott and Williams are gone after this season.
There is no need to redshirt him. After Williams and Scott leave, Bryce Browns' sophomore season he'd be splitting carries with Murphy, and be a play (literally a play away from starting. Though Im anxious to see Murphy get more carries. If Murphy has a stellar season, Miles would then hand the ball over to Brown and Ford for their Junior and Senior seasons.
With Seastrunk in the wings. I'm telling you, LSU is stacked with talent and primed for a championship run. We don't need Bryce Brown, but adding him to what we have would be cause for a Congressional Hearing.

As far this season goes. Bryce would definitely get spot carries, and take over in games that are blow outs, where he would get valuable experience. And with the talent we already have, I see many Blowouts this season. He can even get into the rotation as a return man.

There are just as many backs at Miami.

Plus football is a what have you done lately sport. When Bryce comes to town, they are going to walk him into a room with two, shiny crystal footballs. Which is something the U, Oregon nor Tennessee can do.
