    That was my doing.

Brings a little more attention to an otherwise interesting situation.

It's an extension to the 2009 recruiting season. Therefore, I labeled him as a 2009 1/2 recruit.

I understand he is dragging it out, but yall have to realize this is the one of the most important decision in this kid's life. I would love to have him on LSU :geaux:

I really think we have a chance at getting Bryce Brown.

If he wanted to be in Miami, he would be in Miami.

    And guess what.

He's scheduled to be in Baton Rouge in five Days. I pray that we get him. Shepard, Randle, and Brown would literally turn Tiger Stadium into a circus. Saturdays in Baton Rouge would be insane. We would be practically unbeatable. We’re talking about playmakers all over the field. It would be like when USC has Leinhart, Bush, White, Mike Williams, Keary Colbert. Fred Davis, etc........

IMHO, with Jefferson at QB, this team will compete for a title next year.
We still have Lafell and Tolliver at WR. Dixon at TE. Scott and Williams are seniors in the backfield. Holliday will still get a carry or two. Randle can slide into the slot or the 2nd receiver depending on substitutions and formations. Russell Sheppard will most certainly slide into the Percy Harvin, Slot/Wildcat QB/ RB. so expect Shepard to make plays all over the field.

Getting Bryce Brown would be like a dream come true. Imagine having the best RB (Brown), the best WR (Randle: who can also play QB), The best QB/ATH (Shepard: who can play any position, he just needs the ball in his hands), it could be insane.

We would blow people out…..Really bad.

Throw in the fact that we have Coleman, Peterson, Jones, Alem, Loston, Baker, Riley, Davenport, etc…. on defense. And I'm telling you LSU is on the verge of creating a monster.

Here to hoping Bryce has a great visit, and realizes that Baton Rouge is where it’s at. I know we already have a great class, but signing Bryce Brown could change the atmosphere in Baton Rouge for quite some time. LSU is in not in the situation where we need a guy like Bryce to save our program, we are a far way away from needing one player to rescue us. But, adding him to what we already have would be simply amazing.

I think Bryce could change his mind, or end up any university that he deems fit, but if he signs on the dotted line to play his college days in Tiger Stadium, I just want you'll to be ready for a circus. I’m talking highlights for days.

One again, I really think we have a shot because, the kid sounds strongly religious. I doubt a 17 year old kid would be putting on a show for attention, with God as his front man. Bryce seems really open to seeing all that is out there for him.

If he chooses elsewhere, LSU will still be one of the most dangerous teams in the country, but with Brown, IMHO, for the next four years we’d be practically unbeatable.

A circus I say……..An absolute circus! What would opponent game plan for?

I’ll keep dreaming until Bryce declares… Until then, we wait, and hope for great Louisiana sunshine this coming Friday and Saturday.

Re: 2009 1/2 RB Bryce Brown

I'd say LSU has a chance at just about any top 100 recruit. But so do Florida, Bama, USCw, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, etc., etc....

The situation at LSU is pretty ripe for a back like Brown. Just have to wait and see.

If lightning does NOT strike, then RB will have to be a huge priority with the 2010 class. Let's hope the trouncing of GA Tech erases the memories of a lackluster 2008 season from Seastrunk and company's minds...

Well, before we blow our wad on this guy, he has to visit first. We'll see. I agree, he would be a nice addition to an already unbelievable recruiting class. Still think Ford would end up being the better of the two and will end up out-producing BB. I look at it like BB would be a nice complement to Ford and serve as competition/depth.

Brown family leaning heavily to switching the UM official visit to a LSU official visit:

This seems to be Bryce Brown's recruiting process.
