The story about 59 year old Watson will definitely take up some of the slack for a missing Woods on the weekend. ABC has to pray that ole Tommy boy can hold up til the back 9 on Sunday, otherwise this weekend has ratings disaster written all over it.
It's pretty much a lock now that Tiger will win the PGA next month. Last time Tiger missed a cut was the '06 Open, his first tournament after his father died. A month later at the British Open, Tiger ran away with it. And if i'm not mistaken, he went on a 8 tourny win streak. Tiger is definitely pissed and embarrassed. Good look to the rest of the tour.
