http://theghostwriter.today.com/2009/03/22/2009-nfl-all-sec-team-offense/ Dwayne Bowe, Devery Henderson, Eddie Kennison, Alan Faneca, Kevin Mawae, and Todd McClure all made the cut.
Yeah, that was damn strong for LSU, but there's no friggin way Alan Faneca is 2nd team. He'd be first team in an all-NFL cast. View attachment 11825 View attachment 11826
my god! i just read it, well, not the whole thing yet. had to comment on something i read right away. they gave bama boy honorable mention. boy, there goes all credibility of the article. what, are they including everyone that plays? starts?
9 total players for LSU looks good but the article loses some credibility with Eddie Kennison as 2nd team. Kennison has hardly played the last couple years. Is he even on a roster now? Overall the SEC receiving corp is pretty thin. Not the abundant number of players you would think.
I was referring to the accomplishments of active players still on an NFL roster. 2 years ago, Faneca was arguably (I probobly misspelled that, so give me a break) the best ever at his position. He's still better than the majority playing the same position. Dude,,,,,,"he blows"? I'll let everyone else decide on how to judge that comment.
ok, he's not horrible, but he's overrated. nowhere near what he used to be. the bullrush has been quite effective against him.
Someone actually asked the question below the article. Ghost writer's answer was current stats and ability, not their past accolades. What have you done for me lately rankings.
Which makes absolutely no sense then why he has Eddie Kennison on his list. Eddie has barely touched a ball the last couple years.
