Bad News: Just heard on NASCAR Radio that journalist David Poole died of a heart attack minutes after he went off air this morning. He was one of my favorite guys on that channel. He will be missed.
Fixed it for you. I was at the TX race with a scanner on. It's ridiculous to hear Little E squared (Earnhardt Jr and Eury Jr) discussing pit strategy. "What do you wanna do?" "I dunno, what do YOU wanna do?" Dude needs to learn how to tell them what's wrong with the car...and crew chief needs to make it right...period. If he can't win in that equipment, he ain't gonna win...and quite frankly, I don't think it bothers him that much. The move to Hendrick was NOT a great move for him. He's now the #4 driver on that team. He was #3 when he got there...a DISTANT #3. He's very overrated.
Wow, that's sad. I liked David Poole A LOT. Dude would just straight up tell it like it is and often went against the popular opinion. He had a passion for the sport and represented the industry with integrity and grace. He truly will be missed. His shoes will be hard to fill, if ever. I hate saying it but it came as no shock that he died of a heart attack. Bro man could eat some vittles and could care less for the results. Part of his charm.
I am chewing on these words, just not done eating them. Bof em fuggers are in the top 10 with a whole ton of racing to geaux. Who amongst us pickers forgot the race was tonight, not tomorrow? Rubi, where ya at? :hihi: Who else???
wow!! I leave my roster alone for a week so somebody, ANYBODY, could get back in this thing and add a little excitement to my championship run. and you bastids STILL can't seem to make up any ground.
i discovered this little fact about 1/3 way through the race. :rolleye33: at least i wasnt the only one with a blonde moment.
Buoy left you hanging? I would be concerned about the rest of your run. Just sayin, with friends like that, who needs friends?
was a mutual decision by me and the buoy. dude thought it would be funny to sit out a week and still mop up. I agreed. Turns out, we were right.
