odd years are supposed to be the tougher ones, but i guess thats changed alot with the disappearance of auburn, the emergence of bama and adding a road game at UGA.
You've got it backwards, my friend. Odd years are our good years. '01 - SEC Champion '03 - Natty Champion '05 - West Champion '07 - Natty Champion
Do you imagine Bama is destined to never lose again? That's funny! LSU still has all the trophies in this century. Bama and Ole Miss are back, Auburn hasn't dropped that much, and Arkansas has upside. The West division is going to be very competitive in 2009. LSU beats you at home a lot. They won't come into the game based on last year's record, homer. It will be on next year's record. It's a mistake to underestimate this LSU team.
I guess you you don't remember Curly's 4-7 power house team that walked into BDS and walked out with a win. We think it is a home game!:grin:
I think the Florida game will be our biggest game next season. It's going to be tough even as a home game. Hope the new defensive staff gels and that the team has a great spring practice in preparation for the upcoming season. I think we could realistically lose one or two games next season with improved play at QB and defense.
I'll go with the usual... 10-2. Ole Miss, Bama, Arkansas, & Georgia will all be very dangerous - although none of them look to be great teams next year. Then of course Florida looks like they'll be a very tough team to beat.
I'll say we go 11-3 next year. We'll win the West, lose the SEC to Florida and win our bowl game. And, we'll finish ranked in the Top 10. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
