What's the date when we know who's going pro for certain?

I think tonight only helped when it comes to Colvin and Von Rosenberg.

We'll miss Coleman, Mitchell and DJ. But if Ryan Schimpf comes back, and a couple of bench/RS/frosh step up....next year could be another REALLY good year.

    What about Dean?

My nephew said he is possibly coming back as well.

If Dean comes back, wow, I honestly expect us to be back in the CWS once more.

He is thinking about it and I posted a video of PM talking to Dean about his plans for him if he comes back. Wants him lean and mean to play 1B or OF next year.

I was assuming he'd be back as an almost certainty, so I didn't mention him except to say that we'd be REALLY good again.

    Almost certainty, really?

Seems to me he should be leaning to going pro. He was selected in the 10th without playing a lick of defense and if he comes back next year he would lose his bargaining power being a senior.

Miles shifting to defense could increase his stock if it works out however.

Unless he absolutely tears it up on defense and offense next year, I do not see his stock increasing.

I'm not saying my assumption was CORRECT.

But. He didn't have a stellar year (strong, but not stellar). If he has a good glove year, and a great hitting year (which he's capable of), then I don't see how his stock won't rise.

But I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about :hihi:. This is all JMO. Which, if you add $4.50 to it, will get you a foofoo coffee at Starbucks.
