    Von Rosenberg is projected in the 1st round and says 2 million could be the magic number but he is not sure.

    He loves LSU and his parents seem to prefer him go to college but they want him to do what is best for him.

    Zachary pitcher has eye on the MLB draft - Sports

    So it looks like Von Rosenberg and Heathcott will be drafted very high....and could very well skip college.

    Mormann and Colvin could also be high draft picks, but I think Colvin is the one who is really focused on LSU, not pro ball.

    LSU has been getting hit hard in the MLB draft, including our recruits. Heathcott is gone, he was a 1st round pick. Rosenburg, Colvin, Stang all got drafted too. I think Rosenburg went in 6th round and Colvin/Stang in the 7th. So in reality, we could lose all four of those guys but I think its safe to say Colvin/Rosenburg will be here next year. Don't think Pirates can afford Rosenburg. Colvin said in a article he was definitely coming to LSU, we'll see. Don't think Stang is staying but I hope I'm wrong...

    On a side note, I think Mitchell/DJ are for sure gone and Dean/Ochinko are likely gone too.

    People we lose:

    Heathcott=1st round, gone
    Mitchell=1st round, gone
    DJ=2nd round, gone
    Coleman=gone
    Schimph=gone
    Rosenburg=6th, possibly gone
    Colvin=7th, possibly gone
    Stang=8th, possibly gone
    Dean=10th, probably gone
    Ochinko=12th probably gone

    We're going to be hit hard next year, will be devastating if Colvin/Rosenburg leave because we really need pitching depth next year. We will only have two great go to guys and one of them is a closer right now...

    I think Rosenberg and Colvin sign with LSU and everyone else is gone.
