I love the players, I don't care for Jefferson as a QB but he plays hard (i respect the players because they play hard), to be honest until you get a real OC in there any personnel you put in there is going to struggle. If you would take Jefferson over Mallet you are on some serious drugs. LSU's 2nd and 3rd string guys could start on Arky. Sorry but the offense couldn't move the ball and Arkansas is by far the worse defense in the league.... LSU will finish probably 11th in the SEC in offense and probably in the bottom 10% nation wide. The offense is a total mess. I am glad they won but I want my LSU TEAM back.
I love Jefferson. Remember he is a sophmore guys. It will only get better. I keep crowton and let Jefferson develop even more with the offense that he has learned. A change in oc might set them back. What kind of Oc would be right for jefferson? pro stlye, another spread, option:lol:? Continuity should get better after another bowl and spring.
It's always been that way. Tiger fans have built this "always win & win big" mentality and if the coaches, players faulter, call for the lynch mob! We created this expectation ourselves and can't handle it when things don't go according to plan. We feel as if our beloved University has been shamed and life as we know it will never be the same. Truth is no one wants to win more for us, the fans, than the coaches & players. You can see it written all over their faces. How many times tonight did you see the look of frustration on JJ's face after he'd messed up? He knew when he did something wrong and he was beating himself up for it. Personally, I think his performance tonight was a step in the right direction. I thought he played with a confidence I hadn't seen in him before. 9-3 & a bowl game isn't a bad season, unless you're a Tiger fan. LSU is a wonderful University and we're very fortunate to have such great athletes want to come here and play for our entertainment. Congratulations Tigers on the win against Arkansas!
in the fans defense that off-tackle had been shut down all game. And they weren't booing the first run they booed on the second off-tackle which gained a yard. Hell I know I was extremely pissed about that second run because we were only gaining a yard every time we ran it.
Great win for LSU, Very good season for LSU!!!! Just did not think it would be so hard to end up 9-3. Each game seemed to be a real battle... Its good, I'm ok with it. You??
