Re: Breaking down the top 100 and where they've expressed interest... When about 80% of the offers get turned down, I guess it is a good strategy to actually field a team.:hihi:
Re: Breaking down the top 100 and where they've expressed interest... QBs we're recruiting for next year: Dayne Crist, from California so it would be tough to pull him but he's a physical freak of nature like JaMarcus. 6'5" 225lbs. A new guy that has popped up on the board is Darron Thomas, dual threat QB from Texas. 6'3" 200lbs - very athletic, could play a couple positions but we're recruiting him as a QB. Would be a nice addition if we bring in another more pro-stlye QB with him. It looks to me like this will be one of the 2 QBs we'll take in this class. Justin Tuggle, Pro-style QB from Ga is also getting some attention from us.
Re: Breaking down the top 100 and where they've expressed interest... I hear that the coaches really like Tuggle. He is former NFL LB Jesse Tuggle's son.
Re: Breaking down the top 100 and where they've expressed interest... I didn't mention him simply because he was already brought up earlier.

Re: Breaking down the top 100 and where they've expressed interest... According to uscvball, we now lead for Crist. Suprising to me as I heard he grew up a USC/UCLA fan and that ND was heavily in the mix. It will be very interesting to see how the QB & WR recruitment goes down, as we're in it for a bunch of top prospects at both positions, but will only take a limited number - 2 QBs, and I'd guess 3 WR's.
Re: Breaking down the top 100 and where they've expressed interest... Having it all over the news that your QB will go #1 in the draft only helps matters with recruiting.
