Broussard being there has nothing to do with Miles being "nice." He is there because his school does not have a pro day, so his choices are either a school within so many miles from his home town, or within so many miles of his school. I think it is 100 miles, not positive though.
Thats what I thought before this season as well. Then a lot of pre-season rankings talked about how he was such a speed guy. :insane:
As a recruit Doucet's speed was only advertised as 4.5, and I've never seen anything that proved otherwise. You can be an NFL receiver running a 4.5 as long as you do the technical things correctly and are not afraid to go up for the ball. Look at Marques Colston for a recent example of that.
Well ESPN and other meida outlets are now impressed with Dorsey again. ESPN spent the 1st 8 minutes of the show going over Dorsey at the combine and draft analyst. It will air again a few times today amd tomorrow. Dorsey's 27 reps was the avg for DT at the Combine. 5.13 40 was betten than Ellis who ran a 5.32 John Clayton says he will fall between 2-4 to either STL, ATL, or OAK and he reported that all the team officials he has talked to today said the injury rumors will not affect his draft status. Here is the full chart that is completed from Pro Day again: http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=1419052
Interesting Tidbits: Bowe was there watching. Hear Korte, Daniel Francis, Dyakowski also worked out. Broussard showed up at 235 pounds. Flynn did not do the drills but hear he threw better than ever. Coach Yaw Yaw guided Dorsey through an assortment of additional drills. Dorsey gave everything he had today. STL and Haslett were watching Dorsey closely. Ali had a great day, Sonny said he actually clocked in at 4.65. http://louisianastate.scout.com/2/740829.html
I would be "shocked" if anyone forgot he won every major trophy for defensive linemen. I'd say that even if his numbers aren't mindblowing, he still has a rather impressive body of work that everyone will remember come draft day.
