Pretty good props to LSU from Herbie. He was obviously impressed at the times Gameday was here last year. I'm hoping Tyson Jackson lives up to the hype he's been getting.
OK. First of all, we all know what "Herbie" did concerning our football program last year. Second,,,,,,I frickin DON"T LIKE this guy. He has football smarts but seems to love to start controversy, must be trying to make himself the guru, I'm not sure why he is what he is. I'll guarantee you that he is on Miles most disliked in the media after last season's fiasco. Now,,,,with that said, look at all the LSU players he has as "all-world". If I'm not mistaken, there are more LSU players on that list than any other school. SO,,,,,,,,,after that,,,,,,,,he picks Auburn to win our division in the SEC????? WTF???? GUYS,,,,,look at this guy for what he is,,,A Frickin HACK!!!! He disrespects our program year in and year out. And he personally disrespects our coach. He's an Ohio State homer. But he's not an idiot. And lots of folks are picking LSU second in the west. Auburn has a very good team. I disagree with them on this. But they're not spewing garbage.
I know it's not "garbage" coming from anyone else in broadcasting. Auburn is gonna have a "damn strong football team" as we all expect them to. However, I strongly dislike Mr. Herbstreit. He's already shown his true colors and also proved to be a punk. I'd even bet that Michigan fans really dislike him sealing the deal with Miles staying with my beloved purple and gold. Hell, who'd you rather have at the helm, Miles or RichRod? I live in Wv and I pick Miles. If Saturday don't get here soon, I may have a coronary.
I'm not saying he's an idiot to be picking us for second in the West; however, he, like all other talking heads, can be prone to being idiotic. My dad has been talking for several years about co-authoring a book with me. He's very clear on the title, though: Sportscasters and Other Dumbazzes. I'm sure we won't write it, but seeing as how my dad has a sharp, biting wit, it might actually be pretty funny.
