    :hihi:

    That's sum funny stuff there bro.

    I think Florida gets the #1 slot with USC in the top 3- difference being UF returns their QB (Along with the majority of their team. I know they lose Caldwell and Joiner but not exactly sure who else- they are a very young team though) and USC will have a "New" QB though Sanchez has some legit playing time- if Mustain doesn't win the starting role, and I don't think he will.

    I really hope we are 7th or 8th-ish cause I don't want to enter the season with added pressure and we'll be able to move up if we take care of our business but I think we'll definitely be in the top 5.

    Good points...and consider this...

    Assuming we actually ARE ranked Top 7-8, our first few games are blowout type games...especially with our offense. More than likely, especially considering THIS crazy season...a couple of teams in front of us will lose early...and we will move up quickly.

    At this point, LSU looks like we'll be the best team in the SEC West, but our schedule is probably a lot harder than Alabama, Arkansas, or Auburn's.

    LSU's offense should be lights out, but our defense is a very big concern. Those of you who are fine with CB don't realize that most of the CBs on our roster were not CBs in high school. They are very young & all still learning the position. CB play will not be great.

    Florida should definitely be ranked #1. USC will be ranked top 3 no matter what.

    Assuming Auburn, LSU, and Alabama will be the top three in the West:

    Auburn
    LSU
    Tennessee
    Arkansas
    Georgia
    @ Alabama

    LSU
    @ Auburn
    @Florida
    @South Carolina
    Georgia
    Alabama
    @ Arkansas

    Alabama
    @ Arkansas
    @ Georgia
    @Tennessee
    @LSU
    Auburn

    Certainly Auburn will have the easiest schedule and we will be more talented. The game @ Auburn should decide the West.

    If LSU beats Ohio State, they will be in the Top 4 at the start of 2008. Take it to the bank.

    USC, UF, and OU are locks. I dont think there is any way we are top four. Georgia will almost certainly be ahead of us. Voters love the key losses on your team card. And they will play if for us.

    I agree, I hate starting the season off in the top 5. There is nothing good about it. I know Lou Holtz is a fool now, but back when he was young he was a hell of a ball coach. He was very good about downplaying his teams' rankings to the media, especially once they got in the top 5.
