2008 was not kind to us, although I'm just preaching to the choir. Criteria are as follows: I compiled SEC records (including SECCG wins and losses) for the last 5 seasons (2004 regular season through 2008.) Then I averaged them. Whoever had the highest average wins versus losses took the top. And you can figure out the rest. #1: Florida - (6.0 - 2.4) [Formerly #4] #2: Auburn - (5.8 - 2.4) [Formerly #2] #2: Georgia - (5.8 - 2.4) [Formerly #3] #4: LSU - (5.8 - 2.6) [Formerly #1] #5: Tennessee - (4.8 - 3.6) [Formerly #5] #6: Alabama - (4.6 - 3.6) [Formerly #8] #7: South Carolina - (3.8 - 4.2) [Formerly #7] #8: Arkansas - (3.6 - 4.6) [Formerly #8] #9: Kentucky - (2.4 - 5.6) [Formerly #10] #10: Vanderbilt - (2.2 - 5.8) [Formerly #12] #10: Ole Miss - (2.2 - 5.8) [Formerly #9] #12: MSU - (2.0 - 6.0) [Formerly #11] Auburn and Georgia are tied at 2, as are Ole Miss and Vandy at 10. Losing the record from 2003 hurt us.
