salty is going to play 1st base, so they say. we'll see. you're right about Soriano, though. That kid can pitch.
went to the mets game, but i aint no millionaire, couldnt get field seats like last year, so it was much harder to heckle barroid. they are making progress on citifield: the round part is the "jackie robinson rotunda". i used my superzoom to take a look at barroid, but i am dumb with cameras and for some reason the zoom makes the pics massive, so i won't bother. beltran banjaxed his knee, the met outfielders are going down like flies, jeebus, they are playing the zephyr outfield in queens now.
whether you like him or hate him, that is a great pic to have in the album for the next 60 years. :thumb:
man, i dunno, at first they said bruise, which is good, then they said twist/strain, which is terrible. lastings milledge needs to stop rapping in new orleans, get healthy and report for duty, he is badly needed. all 3 starting outfielders are down. you seem to be unduly impressed by photographs, but yeah i guess it is kinda cool to have some personal photos of the all-time HR king, like if my dad had hank aaron photos, i would be interested. i had really hoped by this time in the season he would be almost on the record, and might break it in new york, but that was a serious stretch.
it was poker night with the homeez (came out even-stephen) so it was a rare missed met game for me tonight, and i return home to find endy chavez is out with a torn hammy ? damnit! shawn green - out moises alou - out beltran - in, barely. nursing a bad leg lastings milledge - out with ankle endy chavez - out with hammy damnit! if atlanta wasnt such a sad sack this would really be cause for concern. time to call up yet another new orleans zephyr outfielder.
Even w/ the injuries, Mets beat Philly tonight 4-3 w/ David Wright leading the charge and Maine getting the dub.:thumb:
