And that's just unfortunate. He's a good coach and can get it done during the regular season, but does not have much luck when it comes in the playoffs (the Marty Schottenheimer effect). I feel bad for the guy.

But in other news: Good thing the Hornets lack of depth and playoff experience was a huge factor. Too bad they had to play Dallas in that mausoleum named New Orleans Arena, right Sir Charles? :rolleye33:

If the Suns can hold on to this 4th quarter lead and steal game 5 at SA, I really believe the Suns are going to be the first NBA team in history to come back from a 3-0 deficit. The Suns are the better team, they just have not played like it.

    We shall see.

Shaq needs to sit out these last 7 minutes.

Guy's career is over. It's embarrassing to watch.

Chris Paul obviously underperformed in his first ever playoff series:

    24.6 ppg
    12.0 apg

    3 double-doubles
    1 triple double

clinching game 5 he had 15 assists and zero turnovers

Who in their right mind has 15 assists and doesn't turn the ball over?

Give the kid his deserved MVP.

    I mean, really.

The MVP race has to be down to two guys...Paul & Bryant.

We've noted their accomplisments, history, the fact that some voters will choose Bryant based on his career and never winning before, the fact that some voters will go against Bryant based on his off-court problems, etc., etc., etc.

I think they're both great candidates but I give the nod to Paul. Call me a homer if you'd like but I think he represents the "V" in MVP better than Bryant. This team is where they are because of Paul. His scoring average, turnover rate, steals, and rebounds are great but the number I like the best is his assists total.

I also don't recall seeing Paul charged with a technical foul this season (not saying it didn't happen...I just don't remember) but I know Bryant was one away from being suspended this year.

Maybe the "V" in MVP means "vocal" or "violent" for Bryant. :hihi:

its the maxwell award this year. given to first runner up.

    chances of cp3 winning mvp=0.1%

voting will be close but its a formality. no need to get your hopes up.

each time i saw this happen he was actually defending a teammate. something he didnt do much of in the past.

That's it? The entire Resume'? I guess he hasn't made it big enough yet for sexual assault allegations. He'll get there though.
