We need a replay of the Hornets inaugural home game when they smoked the Jazz in the 4th quarter for a 25-point win.
It's not looking good...down 73-54 with 8:25 to go. If we win our last five or less if the Lakers and Spurs stumble, we'll win the West.
Ouch. The Jazz always seem to have the Hornets' number. The good news was that the Hornets had another 17k+ crowd. Tonight's attendance: 17,265 Average home attendance from December 1 to now: 14,657
I would say good game but we know that wasn't the case. That was not a cheap shot BTW because I pull for the Hornets and this one game did not make me think they were in trouble at all. Remember this was almost exactly what they did to the Spurs the other day by holding them to their franshise low in points. Both teams shot poorly and I am just happy to see that the Jazz can score in numerous ways even when they are missing wide open 3s that usually fall. Something the Hornets do as well. Hope to see a great Western conference finals matchup between the Jazz and Hornets.
your whole post wasn't a cheap shot until then. you either implying the Jazz will move up from 4 (unlikely) or the Hornets will drop to 2. humm. subconscious hatred.
I guess it would have to be semifinals if the top 4 teams in the west stay where they are now. Sorry for the mix up but yes the Jazz might have to go thru the Rockettes.
They're now 55-23 with four games remaining. The Spurs and Suns are tied at halftime. If the Suns win, the Hornets regain their two game lead in the loss column and will be looking pretty good for the #1 seed. As strong as the West is, I don't believe the seeding is as important as who you face. I just want to finish #1 in the regular season because it would be a first for the Hornets. Chris Paul had 19 points and 16 assists tonight. He pulled in 5 reboounds as well. The Lakers lost their chance to narrow the gap last night as they also lost.
