Pretty exciting game. Chris Paul is a beast. 37 points, 13 assists, 3 steals. Attendance for Bulls game: 14,337 Average attendance from December 1 to tonight: 14,093
Your math comes into question. They beat their average, but their average goes down? You had it at 14,084 after the last home game. What am I missing?
After inspecting the problem closely, the only conclusion I can come to is that maybe I have dyslexia. Problem solved. I edited my post to reflect the correct number. :thumb:
The Hornets have to average 19,550 the remaining 4 home games to reach that magical 14,735 number. What is their capacity?
I see 6 home games left on their schedule: Wed, Mar 19 Houston 8:00 PM Sat, Mar 22 Boston 8:00 PM Fri, Apr 4 NY Knicks 8:00 PM Sun, Apr 6 Golden State 1:00 PM Tue, Apr 8 Utah 8:00 PM Tue, Apr 15 LA Clippers 8:00 PM
Thanks, DH. I failed to see the 2 remaining home games in March. So now the calculation yields: 17,731. Which I would guess is very doable. Knicks and Clippers games might be tough to hit a good number (especially the Knicks game). Is capacity about 18,200?
Based on this website with all NBA arenas, the capacity is 24,042. http://www.nbahoopsonline.com/History/Leagues/NBA/Arenas.html
Awesome 4th quarter comeback last night and I enjoyed seeing Les Miles join in on the fun sitting next to Shinn. Jordy also did a halftime interview with Les.
They've listed other games as sellouts a few times this season, but the only game this season that they said was a complete sellout was the Lakers game on Friday. The attendance for that game was 18,199.
I do not know what the actual capacity is because all the sellout games are listed with different attendence figures. I found a ticket site that said it was 18,500 which is closer to the 18,199. I would say that maybe they do not count some of the capacity in the box areas when determining if it is a sellout.
